There are many variables to past life regression therapy. Past life events can play a crucial (and potentially negative) role in current life experiences. Traumas from past lives can impede personal progress and conflict with psychological and emotional well being. Past life regression therapy provides great benefit for those suffering from seemingly unknown sources, which also include fears and phobias, detrimental relationship routines, depressive thoughts and other adverse behaviors that prevent thorough recovery. Past life regression and hypnotherapy correlate to probe the deepest recesses of the subconscious mind to expand on a person’s life story. Latent memories can extend far deeper than what the present life presents. The regression will afford the re-evaluation of prior events and aid the current self to reconcile with the unresolved conflict of the past. We spend an exorbitant amount of time focused on “why” without understanding the root cause and the effect of reproducing the same mistakes while expecting different results. This therapy and corresponding understanding can afford security in re-establishing a solid foundation to build upon. Case in point: I once held a group past life regression therapy session that was extremely powerful. One woman was overwhelmed with stress, fear, grief, and anxiousness from being raped. She also had severe panic attacks. Through therapy, she came out of a deep trance, remembering being a ruthless king who was drunk with power. She recalled telling the subjects to desecrate and rape all of the women in the village, creating great havoc, forcing their fear and respect. Suddenly, she understood her karmic life lesson regarding abuse of power. This session afforded another woman an understanding as to why she didn’t want children, which was a recurring theme in her life. She was able to recall a distinct memory of being part of a harem. She vividly recalled dying in the desert heat, with her child held close to her chest, hence providing an explanation to her present life conflict.Â
